How long did it take to produce the book?

What started out as a personal project in 2014 eventually became an 8 year adventure. Initially, I was only interested in the jacket artwork, and I thought if I were to photograph 50 jackets, that would be enough to mount an exhibition of the work. Then I started meeting the veterans, and hearing their stories. Soon portraits and interviews followed, and the idea of creating this book was born.

Where and how was it produced?

The book was entirely photographed, designed, and printed here in the United States. To date, it has won silver in two international design competitions, was shortlisted for the New York Art Directors Club awards, and was named Fashion Book of the Year by the Ivy Style fashion blog.

Is it possible to have it autographed?

How will the book be protected and shipped?

We take great care to package the book so it arrives undamaged. We’ve shipped books to Australia, Malaysia, South Africa, all over Europe, and the USA. All have arrived in perfect shape! Normally we ship out the same day an order is placed, but no later than the next business day. If a book is damaged, we’ll replace it…no questions asked.
